Lane Venture Partners is led by Adam Lane, a senior operator and adviser who works with leaders at inflection points, where growth, capital, governance or change require clear thinking and sound judgement.

Adam has held Group CEO and senior leadership roles across multiple geographies, and brings experience spanning operating businesses, capital markets, and advisory work. His background includes time at organisations such as NAB and GE Capital, alongside leading and scaling businesses through periods of growth, transition and constraint.

Across his career, Adam has been sought out as a thinking partner by founders, executives, boards and investors when decisions are complex, stakes are high, and easy answers are absent. His work is characterised by an ability to operate with empathy at both strategic altitude and practical depth, helping leaders frame the real issues, understand options, people impacts and consequences to enable deliberate progress.

Lane Venture Partners reflects this approach. It is deliberately small, senior and relationship-led. While Adam remains the primary point of accountability, he works with a carefully selected network of experienced operators and specialists where broader or deeper capability is required.

When not running Lane Venture Partners, Adam can often be found in and around the Surf Coast in Victoria where he lives with wife Ness and two boys Zach and Ben. That is if the family are not off camping somewhere in the Australian bush!
